Yesterday (7^th January, 2008) Bajaj Auto, the second biggest bike manufacturer has unveiled their new upcoming small car called “Bajaj Lite”. Auto Expo 2008 is approaching fast and people are waiting for Tata small car to be revealed in it. But Bajaj has surprised all by showing this small car even before Auto Expo. The car was launched by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, the managing director of Baja Auto.

As shown in the picture, its a good looking small 4 seater car. It is little similar with last year launched Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo. Bajaj Lite is expected at a price of aroun dRs. 1.25 Lac and would be competing with Tata small car. But the thing is that this car is not being launched any time soon. So, you will surely not see it in the streets in 2008.

Bajaj says that the car will be offered in petrol as well as diesel variants and will have fuel efficiency in the range or 35 kmpl, which is quite high by all standards.

So lets hope this car comes soon.
