Good thought by Bajaj as surely Platina is better look wise than XCD and with 125 cc it gets some power but on road milage specially in city is still a question, as all your tecnology(DTS SI, twin spark, aluminium alloy engin, etc) are worth less if a bike with out all these fancy techies( bikes from likes of Hero Honda, TVS ,Honda ) delivers more or at least same performance, still front Disk brake are always required , hope Bajaj thinks that way. It is not always a buyer will think of 2k to 5k while buying bike so, wake up bajaj its not price that always attracts as is seen in the case of super success of Pulsar especially P150.All in all its good to have a choice among 125 cc from a reliable brand.

For how maney years this model will be available in market? Even the showroom people in bangalore say that the onroad mileage is 60-65 Km/Lt only &not 111kmpl. So pls stop giving false mileage claims & don’t cheat the poor middle class people.

my dear does any automobile company give better mileage in 125 cc engine power,no.
if we got 65-70 kmpl then its our fault of rough driving.

    2.avoid sudden speed.
    3.avoid sudden breaks.
    4.avoid treffic time and path.
    5.avoid zig zag path.
    6.mostly drive single and smooth.
    7.regular chek the tyre pressure.
8.service on time with best lubricant.
9.put the petrol from selected petrol pump in early morning.
10.bike should be one hand only.
