Auto Expo 2010 : Small Car Concept from Honda

Posted on January 9th 2010

Welcome back!

Small from Honda

The curtains were down when the Delhi Auto Expo began. Honda had covered their power of dreams with a thick satin cloth. The new car ensured the audience stays in surprise in all cases. The new machine was made to cater the requirements of daily needs in affordable price. The new invention did attract attention and when the curtains went up it had a big noise and everyone applauded. The new design did ensure high economy.

The design is smart and top notch but the power given to the model is comparatively less than expected. This was not expected from Honda. The entire range of small has less CC engines. The price tag which is expected on the Small is under 5 lakhs. The price quoted is decent too but not the engine size and power.

By looking at the car one thing is sure, the quality and design is top notch. VTECH technology will be used in the making of the car which will deliver good power. The Small will be available in 2011 but plans might get postponed as it will directly head to Thailand. The code name for the car is 2CV which was running through every Honda fan.

Dual air bags options are given in the car which ensures safety of the driver and passenger. By looking at the car it does look like a concept but as Honda says it will launch the car by 2011 it might be true too. There are chances where the engine will be borrowed from Jazz.

The car looks stunning. The car will surely be a hit in the Indian car market once it is commercially launched.

Really seems to be marvelous!! I hope it will come with an automatic transmission.
If you do not mind I give it a name—-’Chetak.’ Chetak happens to be the royal horse of Rana Pratap Sinh of Rajaputana Empire.
