The Iconic German car maker, Audi has gone one step ahead, and made public its all scintillating model of the Audi R8. The company revealed this car with its famous Spyder version of the super car. The company at its launch highlighted everything about the new version of the R8, right from the car being lightweight, to its spectacular high performance in the GT version of the Spyder.

Also, more to the specs chart is its thumping acceleration, which figures out to be a 0-100kph speed, in just 3.8sec. The super car with the blazing exteriors makes it to the max speed of 317kph. That’s like getting to Mumbai from Pune in just 45 mins. Now isn’t it a scintillating speed?! More to the R8 GT Spyder, is its six speed R-tronic transmission as standard, which is some great news to the buyers who have a fetish for this hot babe.
Audi engineers have actually cut down on its weight, and tried to trim it down as much as 85 kg lesser than the previous R8. The previous version was more on the gravitational pull. This car is lighter, better and meaner in looks too. The car gets an all wheel drive with R8 Spyder’s kerb weight getting to a modest 1640kg in the GT. This is mainly due to the addition of carbon fiber on some body panels, the modified front spoiler, fixed rear spoiler and the new, gorgeous rear bumper.
The car also has many styling changes in its exteriors, which include add-ons in titanium grey, a dual lip front splitter, a revised front bumper. Also, the car has been given the red GT badges, round exhaust tailpipes that just make it look better even from the rear, an enlarged rear diffuser and dark LED taillights behind clear glass.
As far as the interiors are concerned the car has all black interior where in the most crucial weight-saving has taken place. Also, the additions of new bucket seats have given a trendy look to the car. Like the GT version of the coupe before this one, production of the all new avatar of Audi R8 GT Spyder, will be clocked at 333 units.
