Audi Introduces Q5 2.0 TDI q

Audi had recently launched its Audi A8 V10 Spydar on 25th March and in order to further strengthen its position in the enticing Indian automobile market has decided to launch the new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q.
Audi, the German luxury auto car maker has today announced the launch of another new sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q. The car is priced at Rs. 3, 905, 000 (Ex-Showroom Maharashtra). The deliveries of the ambitious car from Audi would commence in April, 2011.
We are confident that the addition of the powerful 2.0 TDI q engine to the Audi Q5 range in India will strengthen and sustain our leadership position in the luxury SUV segment. Mr. Michael Boneham, Head- Audi India was quipped as saying.
The Audi Q5 is powered by a petrol engine. With petrol prices increasing day by day, the auto major has taken care and brought a diesel engine too to please its target audience. The petrol engine is 2.0 TFSI and diesel engine 3.0 TDI q. The new 2.0 TDI q would be available as a CKD.
As far as the growth rate of Audi is concerned, Audi India has sold 3003 cars in 2010, exceeding its target yet again to achieve a record growth of 81%.
This encouraging performance reinforces the increased aspiration for technical finesse and progressive sophistication among luxury automotive customers in India. Audi India will continue to expand its product line up and deliver path breaking and award winning cars to cater to this rising need
Mr. Michael Perschke, another top Audi executive was quoted as saying on the record performance of the company in the recent past and hoped to continue doing that in the future too.
Amongst other slew of activities, Audi is also committed to strengthen its dealership network in major metros and big cities of India and take it to a new level of excellence.
In 2011 so far, the company has already opened four showrooms in Delhi and Chennai with Ludhiana to follow suit. Last year the auto major has also opened its showrooms in Mumbai West, Kolkata, Jaipur and Bangalore.
It must be added that Audi is on the right track to be a market leader in the near future.

Appreciate your work and effort to keep up-to-date with the latest in automobiles in India. I observe that you are still using Rs. to refer the currency just a suggestion to use the new Indian rupees symbol in your future blogs.
