For all bike riders, be it geared or non geared wearing a helmet is indeed necessary. This message of great importance is going to be spread by all bike lovers and the ones who cherish riding. Organizations like xbhp , PARA (Pune Automotive Racing Association) and Wheelie Boy, are coming together to spread both message and awareness of wearing a helmet while riding.

The D-Day is going to be the 6th of June 2010, wherein bikers, bike lovers, everyone from the two cities, Mumbai and Pune will gather and start off a rally. This rally would certainly help the cause and thus would create awareness about the importance of wearing helmets. Mumbai Bikers will meet up at 12:00 noon at the BKC Bus Stop, Mumbai. While their partners in Pune, will meet at 3.30 PM on Dehu Road, Pune. The finish line of the rally would be at The MotoCafe, at around 6 :30PM. Its address is

Enthusiasts from both cities will make it sure that riding with a helmet wherever and whenever you go will not only keep you away from trouble but also make your and others ride safer. Pune, Mumbai being most accident prone cities in Asia, people need to understand the importance of such preventive measures and activities relating to them.

The people better learn to ride in with the safety kits or else the number is just there to increase. Such promotional campaigns will only be helpful to reduce the huge mishaps that we all read in newspapers. Creating awareness is just he minimum we can do, thus going in the right direction as far as safety and responsibility is concerned.
This rally would thereby, like all members to join the ride and help promote the usage of helmets by two wheeler riders.
