8,000,000 Units of Toyota Prius to be Recalled in the US
Posted on February 24th 2010Welcome back!

The much awaited car is here in India. As seen in the Delhi Expo the car will be soon on Indian roads. Before it could make its way here in the Indian market about 8 million units of Toyota Prius have been recalled. The problem detected in these new cars is about the accelerator pedal and braking systems.
All auto giants are quietly facing the same problems. Most of them have stuck accelerator problems or failure in braking systems. These are not minor especially with a global manufacturer. With the help of developing technology these cars are built to travel at high speeds. With such types of faulty equipments there are more chances of accident taking place.
The Japanese auto maker is in trouble for the Indian market too. The launch of Toyota Prius will take place soon here in Indian market. Now the arising question out of this launch is about having the cars from the same lot or a new lot has been assigned for import.
