7th Edition of Maruti Desert Storm Begins Today

The 7th edition of Maruti Desert Storm is started on 17th Feb, 2009 by Maruti Suzuki in India. Maruti Suzuki Storm, most challenging rally in India spans the interiors of Rajasthan and coast of Gujarat this year. The rally is being conducted in India each year and the lovers of rally in abroad and India are really crazy about it. 170 contestants will participate in the rally that will cover near about 2060 km of area in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
The track of rally will cover off road and on road terrains in the two states. On 17th February in the afternoon the rally will start after the flag off from Shahpura situated at Delhi-Jaipur highway. The primary phase of the rally will be quite challenging one as it will cover semi dry rivers in Bikaner. After that the rally will continue to Jaiselmer and then to Kutch in Gujarat. At the Adesar camps the rally will spend two nights in tents and then go onward to Udaipur where the prize distribution ceremony will take place and the winners will get awarded.
