Japanese car brand, Honda, has just introduced the all new 2013 Honda CR-V at a starting price of INR 19.95 lakh ex showroom Delhi. This stunning SUV is presently available only in petrol model but comes with an option to choose from two engines.
This SUV comes in 2.0 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine that kicks off a power of 156 PS at 6500 rpm. The buyer has the option to either go for 5 speed automatic transmission or 6 speed manual transmission. On the other hand the 2.4 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine packs in more punch and gives 190 PS of power at 7000 rpm. This model comes with automatic gear box as the standard feature.
As per Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) the fuel efficiency for the 2.0 litre engine stands at 13.7 kmpl whereas the 2.4 litre engine model returns a mileage of 12.4 kmpl. Besides, there is also a new ECON mode that has been incorporated so as to fetch better fuel efficiency from the car.
Other features include advanced features like motion adaptive electronic power steering and advance suspension settings HID projector headlights, rear camera display, a new AVN system that has a large 6.1 inch touch screen display with in built navigation system. There is a new DVD/CD player which allows for iPod and blue-tooth connectivity to play your favourite numbers.
Honda has packed host of safety features like 6 airbags, vehicle stability assist (VSA), anti lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) brake assist, advance compatibility engineering (ACE), occupant position detection system (OPDS) and hill start assist (HAS).
