2012 Chevrolet Captiva Soon To Be Launched In India

Along with new product development and product launches, product renovation is something that needs constant attention in the automobiles sector.

Chevrolet seems to be following the same path and it has got decks cleared for a newer version of its model, the Chevrolet Captiva in India. Chevrolet is getting ready to launch a new model for its ageing Captiva and bring in an all exclusive 2012 Chevrolet Captiva soon.

The most interesting thing is that the move by Chevrolet would place General Motors among the top players of the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment.

The new launch is also being seen as an attempt to give stiff competition to the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra W20i world SUV that’s soon going to be unveiled in the ever buzzing Indian automobile market.

According to the first few reports reaching here, the newly christened car is very stylish and a new lease of life has been provided to the overall look to make it very appealing.

The front grille of the car is made extremely aggressive as seen in Chevrolet Beat and the Chevrolet Cruze. The flaring headlamps are accompanied with a redesigned bumper. A company official was quoted as saying on the features of the new car.

Coming to the major question about the launch of the Chevrolet Captiva, it’s a speculation that revamped model would be brought in the Indian automobile market by the second-half of the year.

2012 Chevrolet Captiva is also set to be sold at a price that is1 lakh more than the existing model.

With the car being directly targeted among the likes of Toyota Fortuner and soon-to-be-launched Mahindra W20i, it would also be interesting to see if any initiative is being taken by these companies to curb the move by Chevrolet.
